I worked various sales jobs while paying my way through college. From telemarketing (that was interesting) to door-to-door sales, I did a little bit of it all. Looking back, the most valuable skill I learned during those college years was not found in the walls of a classroom, but rather, in meeting new people door-to-door, face-to-face. It was the ability to listen. It sounds simple, but there is more to it than meets the eye. The ability to listen is absolutely foundational in learning to communicate well. It helps establish a relationship based on trust. People need to know that you genuinely care about their needs and concerns. With a background in sales and a genuine desire to help people, I decided to enter the real estate business. I fully understand that finding a “home” is a huge part of your life. I joined Main St Realty because they have done an excellent job in serving the Davie County community. I am excited to be a part of the team.
