For more than two decades, Monica D. Stone-Huggins has built her career around one principle: knowledge, communication, and the right strategy can make all the difference in real estate.

As Broker/Owner of Main St. Brokers, Monica brings together extensive experience in both real estate and mortgage lending, giving her clients a unique perspective on the entire homeownership process. From preparing a property for market and negotiating a contract to structuring financing and navigating the lending process, she understands how all the pieces of a transaction work together.

Monica began her real estate career in 2002 as an Acquisition Director for a property developer before moving into mortgage finance. She later expanded her career into real estate brokerage, creating a business model that allows her to understand transactions from both the real estate and financing sides. Today, she is a licensed Real Estate Broker in multiple states and a Mortgage Broker licensed across multiple states.

Her experience includes conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, first-time homebuyer, self-employed borrower, investment property, and other financing scenarios. She is particularly passionate about helping clients understand their options rather than simply presenting them with a loan or a property. For Monica, the goal is to develop a strategy that makes sense for the client's individual circumstances and long-term goals.

Before beginning her real estate career, Monica spent much of her early life in the United Kingdom and pursued an education in Occupational Therapy. That background helped shape the service-oriented approach she continues to bring to her businesses today: listen carefully, understand the circumstances, identify solutions, and advocate for the people who have placed their trust in you.

Community is equally important to Monica. She believes a locally owned business should do more than operate within a community—it should actively contribute to its success. Her involvement with local businesses, organizations, community initiatives, and professional networks reflects her commitment to strengthening Downtown Mocksville and the surrounding Davie County area.

She is also a proud mother of two and grandmother of four. A cancer survivor, Monica approaches both life and business with determination, perspective, and an appreciation for making each opportunity count.
